Demineralization plant:

Demineralization plant

Demineralization is the process for removal of dissolved solids (TDS) from clear water.

Demineralization plant consists of pretreatment block to produce clear water.Clear water is produced by removal of suspended solid, organic matter removal filters. The demineralization block contains Cation Exchanger for removal of cations such as sodium, calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron, Degasser Tower for removal of carbonic acid, Anion Exchanger for removal of anions such as chlorides, sulfates, nitrates, silica etc.

Some of the applications for Demineralization plant are:

  • Boiler Feed Water in power plant
  • Bath preparation for Electroplating
  • Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Breweries
